Now that the dust has settled upon Christmas and New Year and we’re fully back into the swing of things in early 2025, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight and say a big thank you for the sterling work carried out by a few of our number over the course of the festive period.
Whilst most of their colleagues were able to profit from the construction industry shutdown and enjoy a two and a half week holiday, as ever our payroll team of Judith Hart, Irene Heafield and Helen Gladstone, ably assisted by the wider back office, were hard at work ensuring that the temporary workers and contractors who work through our agency received their remuneration uninterrupted over the holiday period.
Processing hundreds of timesheets accurately and in a timely fashion every week is no mean feat in itself, but doing so with shortened weeks and tight deadlines in between Christmas and the New Year, particularly when most other people are struggling even to figure out what day of the week it is, deserves a special mention! Thanks once again for all of your efforts, and for sacrificing your Christmas holidays – it’s very much appreciated.
