As part of our community engagement and social value agendas, we often provide support to our clients in their endeavours to achieve their own CSR goals. This week, along with representatives from sixteen other companies, director Bridget Yates was invited by MGL Group’s social value manager Greg Chapman to conduct mock interviews with year 11 students at Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy in County Durham.
Whereas it’s always great to give something back, it’s also worthwhile noting that these events are often an equally beneficial experience for the person who is volunteering their time. Bridget couldn’t help but be impressed, inspired and even moved by the interviewees and found it to be a most enlightening experience. Many congratulations to the Academy for producing such an engaged cohort of students, and a big thank you to MGL Group for the invitation to take part.
