Main contractor with a civil engineering focus carrying out a significant volume of localised projects ranging up to £5m for Northumbrian Water. This company is well reputed for providing an excellent work-life quality as well as having a focus toward internal staff development and promotion.

Role
Due to internal promotion, the perfect opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take a step forward into a Senior QS position has been created. The role forms an integral part of a stable commercial team delivering a wide variety of civil engineering projects throughout the region within the water sector. Supervision and mentoring of two, recently promoted, competent quantity surveyors will be part of the job.

This is a full time, hybrid position, with a good degree of flexibility around working hours and locations.

Experience Required
Civil engineering project knowledge is preferred due to the varied nature of schemes being delivered. NEC contract experience is an important feature of this role and therefore an essential requirement. Applicants will demonstrate a confident attitude and the ability to fit well within an established team.

Remuneration
Salary will depend on experience, ranging within the Senior QS company bracket. A car allowance is additional, plus a number of other benefits to include fuel expenses, pension scheme, healthcare and generous holidays allowance.
