Role
A Planner is required to provide accurate construction programmes from preconstruction bid stage through to completion mostly for building refurbishments and fit-out projects up to £8 million. Strong knowledge of sequencing building works, critical paths, managing timelines, construction methodology, an ability to identify risks and an ability to draw out information from people are important aspects of the role. Good presentation skills with confidence in front of clients and and leading programme meetings are also important elements of the role.
Experience Required
The ideal applicant will have planning experience from within the construction industry in their role as a Planner. A building rather than civils background is required. The successful candidate will be self motivated, and being a team player is critical for cultural fit.
Remuneration
Salary will vary depending on background and level of experience, however as a guide, the company expects to pay between £50,000 to £65,000.
Driving licence essential.
