The Role
The business is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to handle high-volume purchase invoices, including matching, batching, assigning nominal codes, and inputting data into Sage Line 50. While experience with CIS is an advantage, full training will be provided for those new to this area. Working within a small, close-knit accounts team, you will also occasionally assist with other accounts duties for holiday cover.
Responsibilities also include answering phone enquiries and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a full-time (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract), office-based role, 37.5 hours per week. The position offers flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance.
Experience Required
Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
Proficiency in Sage Line 50
A good telephone manner
Well organised
Remuneration
£27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
