Company
Building contractor undertaking several regional schemes in the North East. Increasing workload has led to the demand for greater design co-ordination and programme planning across the scope of works, leading to a new role being available for an experienced construction professional who would like to become an integral part of the team in both preconstruction and project delivery.
Role
This role requires skilful liaison between all members of the project team including client, design consultants, site management and subcontractors, to ensure the correct content and timely flow of information in order to achieve project deliverables. The position includes involvement at the front end of projects to build the programme strategy and detailed goals for delivery.
This is an office based role with site visits and will suit an experienced project manager who is looking to have less direct people management responsibility whilst still contributing technical expertise to project development from start to completion.
Experience Required
Design Managers, Planners, and Project/Contracts Managers who have held responsibilities across elements of design coordination and project planning within building and refurbishment schemes, and have some experience with relevant softwares, are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of NEC3 contracts will be advantageous.
