Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

Longstanding building contractor with a strong portfolio of work thorughout the region in new build, extensions, refurbishment and building repairs for education and housing schemes. Work secured through frameworks secures around £20m worth of work each year for the next 5 years, with additionally tendered work on top.

Role
The Assistant QS will be paired with a Senior QS to work on a variety of project types that the organisation is delivering, providing an excellent opportunity for learning commercial processes and techniques within a main contractor environment.

Experience Required
The Assistant QS should have studied or be studying towards commercial academic qualifications in quantity surveying and will ideally possess some experience within a commercial role already, from within a contractor, subcontractor or consultancy setting. Ambition to learn and develop skills leading towards taking responsibility for own projects is desirable as this position will offer a pathway to progression to QS.

Remuneration
Negotiable depending on the candidate.
