Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager (NEC)

Autonomous role – QS/PM

Small cost and project management consultancy operating within a multitude of construction sectors across the North East, with interesting and challenging infrastructure projects in the immediate pipeline. The business gives staff full autonomy to work independently and manage their own workload without interference and therefore, requires experienced, motivated individuals.

Role
The position requires full control with a holistic, detailed understanding of the project and close relationship with the client to be established. Working independently, undertaking and fulfilling duties that blur across both cost and project management. 

Full time position based mainly between the office and client's project location, with flexible home-working when required. 

Experience Required
NEC contract knowledge is vital, as is previous experience within a QS or PM position within a consultancy. Cost or project management of a new build roads scheme is advantageous, although other project experience is useful within the longer term profile of this role. 

Remuneration
Competitive salary will be negotiated.
