Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager (NEC)

Autonomous, multidisciplined role – SME

Company
Building and civil engineering consultancy; an independent SME which has a number of schemes confirmed throughout the North East across the housing, infrastructure, commercial and heritage sectors. 

Role
This position is full time, to be based between the regional office, site and with flexibility to work from home when sensible. As a small company, staff are expected to be able to work independently and will have autonomy to run their projects without supervision. Undertaking and fulfilling duties that blur across both cost and project management responsibilities are a key function of this position, enabling the employee to have full control and a holistic, detailed understanding of the project and build a close relationship with the client. 

Experience required
NEC contract knowledge is vital to this position, as is previous experience within a QS or PM position within a consultancy. Cost or project management of a new build roads scheme is advantageous, although other project experience will also be good skills to demonstrate and useful within the longer term profile of this role. 

Remuneration
