The Role
Being in a small team, this role combines several roles into one as it is necessary for the role to have responsibility from the enquiry stage of a job through to delivery on site and post-contract aftercare, in addition to Health and Safety management. This person will take responsibility for numerous projects at any one time, ranging from the smallest of jobs to projects of £2m in value, and will be autonomous to a degree, although labour and resources are shared with the rest of the team.
Work comes from several termed framework contracts and the majority of it is repeat business or won on reputation as opposed to price, and the company delivers through a small direct workforce and a number of regular, reliable subcontractors.
Experience Required
Ideally, candidates will demonstrate experience of pricing, delivering and managing the costs and resources of a range of smaller value works. This is a small team and it is critical that the successful candidate is a proven team player, a good communicator who can cope under pressure and find solutions to issues independently
An ideal candidate would have a good understanding of JCT and NEC3 contracts.
Remuneration
£45,000 per annum plus vehicle
